Separate, optional choices
Newsletter and new-edition notification emails are separate, optional choices. Neither is required to create a reader account or use subscriber features. We only send those categories when you select the corresponding unchecked opt-in.
What you will receive
Newsletter opt-in covers satire, commentary, and publication updates. New-edition notification opt-in covers an email when a new edition is published. Frequency varies with publication activity.
Confirmation and delivery
We send confirmation messages after account registration or newsletter signup. Email is delivered through Resend from no-reply@thebotandbrain.com. Transactional account and security messages may still be sent when needed to provide an account, even after marketing choices are withdrawn.
Change your mind
Every email includes an unsubscribe or email-preferences link. Confirming unsubscribe turns off newsletter and new-edition notification emails without deleting your reader account. Signed-in readers can also update each choice under My Account → Email Preferences.
Consent records and privacy
We store your selected email preferences and the date they were last updated so we can honor your choices. We do not sell email addresses. See our Privacy Policy for more information.
